Heat network
The heat carrier ‘hot water’ generated in the energy plants is pumped to the consumers via a pipe system and supplies them with environmentally friendly heating energy. We are responsible for installing this piping system, which connects the energy plant to the individual customers.
At the consumer on site, the heat is transferred to a second heat transfer medium in a heat transfer station and used for heating purposes. This transfer station requires very little space and contains a heat meter.
The water from the heat network cools down and flows back to the energy plant, where it is heated up anew and the cycle starts again.
Depending on the use, heating networks with different temperature designs are used: high temperature, low temperature and cold heat networks.
A great advantage of heat networks is that by changing the technology in the energy plant, it is possible to quickly convert the entire network to different energy sources. The transfer stations remain unchanged.
